The Scout Troop
What we do.....

Scouts is for young people aged between 10 and 14 years. We take both boys and girls .
We do more adventurous activities than the younger sections including hiking, camping, archery, rifle shooting, boating and much more.
Sea Scouts do the same things as other Scouts, but we also do more water activities. In the summer term we are out on the water every week.

Joining In.

In the Scouts we learn new skills by joining in and having fun. We make new friends by working together towards common goals.
As Scouts, we take responsibility for the activities we do and learn the skills of leadership by taking part.
Scouting equips us for life, but it is not learned from a book. We learn by doing it for ourselves. Scouts have much more choice about our activities and organise many of them ourselves.
Did you know?

There are over 55 million Scouts Worldwide.

We are the largest youth organisation in the World.

11 out of the 12 people who have walked on the Moon were Scouts.

We have been Scouting in Wroxham since 1910.

In the Scouts, we learn life skills you can't get anywhere else.

Scouting has the power to change the World for the better and we are part of that process.
